PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The XR-600 bone densitometer machine by Norland is a pencil beam DXA scanner that has been designed for the AP and hip sites that runs on the Norland’s Illuminatrus software application. This machine has tools for HIPAA compliance and automatic analysis of change over both the short and long term periods of the study of a patient. When you buy the XR-600, you will be able to monitor any significant change on all assessed regions of interest. This bone densitometer also includes an advanced database of tools that allow allow Illuminatus to maintain a large number of operator built databases for archived scans.
The Norland XR-600 machine includes a 77-point calibration system. This calibration system uses a matrix that is constructed from 7 bone density samples crossed with 11 soft tissue levels. It is equipped with a 6-foot patient table with an active scan are of 50” L X 25.5” W that has a 400 pound weight limit.
